Design Policy
Effective as of July 28, 2006
The Design Policies were created by the Board of Directors to protect and maintain the design standards of MidCity Lofts and to accommodate homeowners/residents. Homeowners/Residents who are in violation of these policies will receive a letter advising them to remove the object within 48 hours. Failure to remove the object will result in a $25 per day fine until the object is removed.
1. Doorbell Policy - Spore’s, De-light, illuminated doorbell button has been selected as the approved doorbell for MidCity Lofts. It conforms to the design concept of the building and is both accessible and cost effective ($29). Details on availability, specs and installation guidelines can be obtained from the management office. In accordance with the Declaration of Condominium for MidCity Lofts, a licensed electrician must be used for installation.
2. Doormat/Decoration Policy - Any decoration of any kind is prohibited in any common area, including the residential corridors. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, doormats, signs and plants.
