Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for reviewing MidCity Lofts’ annual operating budget, and communicating to the Board whether condo association dues will sufficiently fund the building’s short-term operations. The Finance Committee is also responsible for monitoring the building’s long-term projects, and ensuring that the reserves are sufficiently funded to meet the building’s forecasted capital repair and improvement projects.

To facilitate these goals, the finance committee will annually prepare/review the building’s operating budget; analyze on a monthly basis the building’s financial statements; analyze potential revenue sources and new expense commitments; and regularly review the adequacy of the building’s reserve fund.

The current chair of the Finance Committee is Joel Rubensohn.
